Structured thinking and visualized expression enhance the level of charming public speaking
On November 16th, the Mid-level Cadre Forum of Jiangnan Management College continued to innovate its educational model and invited external lecturer Mr. Liang to give a lecture titled "Charming Expression and Public Speaking - Structured Thinking and Visual Expression" to project leaders, branch general managers, and middle-level and above cadres of the company. The aim was to enhance the abilities of company employees in self-expression, public speaking, and on-site defense. Improve professional quality and level. General Manager Qian Chijin, Deputy General Manager Qiao Dongyang, Deputy General Manager Jin Guiming and Chief Engineer Bao Weijian, among other company leaders, attended the forum and actively interacted with other trainees during the course. The classroom atmosphere was lively and the communication was enthusiastic, achieving a good training effect.

Jia Fuhui, the manager of the Enterprise Development Department of the host, pointed out in his opening remarks that self-expression ability is an important component of an individual's good comprehensive quality. This mid-level cadre forum has invited Mr. Liang, who has collaborated with the company many times and has a thorough understanding of Jiangnan's management situation, to give a lecture. The aim is to fully integrate the actual work of the company, promote mutual growth through teaching and learning, and achieve the goals of tempering psychological quality, imparting communication and expression skills, enhancing on-the-spot adaptability, and sharing experiences. At the same time, make preparations for the upcoming Aoxiang Cup Project leader Defense Competition.
Teacher Liang's course starts from the most common communication scenarios encountered in daily life and combines the McKinsey pyramid structure theory to explain three models for organizing expression content: the time plan, the global plan, and the triangle plan. These three plans aim to help expressers organize their expression content and form a clear expression structure. On this basis, the course further elaborates on three types of assertive plans: the zoom plan, the pendulum plan, and the income plan, helping the expressers to express their viewpoints more clearly, intuitively and reasonably, and win the recognition of the other party. Finally, the four auxiliary plans: the picture plan, the positive and negative plan, the dominoes plan, and the 5W plan, serve as supplements to the previous seven expression plans, forming a systematic and complete combination of expression techniques.

During the course, after each plan was explained, Teacher Liang would put forward on-site practice requirements, asking the students to pair up and practice in groups of two or three. From time to time, he would invite the students to come to the stage to express themselves, achieving a very good effect of applying what they had learned. During the interactive session, Teacher Liang engaged in an enthusiastic interaction with the trainees, combining the common communication problems encountered at the project site and the test-taking skills in the director's defense.

In his training summary speech, General Manager Qian pointed out that good expression and communication skills are one of the important qualities for a project leader. The course content in today's Zhonggan Forum is very rich. After the course, the trainees should, on the premise of fully understanding the course content, practice more and be brave in practice, and truly turn the knowledge of the teacher into their own skills. On the other hand, Mr. Qian pointed out that good communication skills cannot solve all the problems at the project site. To enhance the satisfaction of the project owner, the key still lies in the service capabilities and quality of the project department, which can solve practical problems for customers and create more value. Therefore, constantly improving service quality should always be our unwavering pursuit.
